Terms of use

What this site is, what it is not, and how what is published here may be used.

Last updated 27 August 2026

What these cover

These terms apply to tryharper.app, this marketing site. By using it you agree to them.

They do not govern the Harper application at app.tryharper.app. Use of the product is covered by the written agreement between Harper and the customer, and where these terms and that agreement disagree, the agreement wins.

Not advice

This site publishes writing about regulation, including the OIG General Compliance Program Guidance, HIPAA, CMS program requirements and the False Claims Act. It is published to be useful and it is checked before it goes up, but it is general information rather than legal, compliance, accounting or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a lawyer or a compliance officer who knows your circumstances.

Regulation changes and guidance is reissued. A page is accurate as at the date shown on it and we do not promise it stays that way. Read the underlying source before relying on anything here, and take advice on your own facts before acting.

Nothing on this site creates a professional relationship of any kind between you and Harper.

What Harper is described as doing

The product descriptions on this site describe how Harper works, including that it verifies obligations against primary sources and stops at judgment calls rather than acting on them. They describe the product, not a warranted outcome. What Harper will do on your agreements is set out in the agreement you sign, and demonstrations and worked examples on this site use invented organizations and figures for illustration.

Using the content

The text, design, code, marks and images on this site belong to Harper or are used with permission. You may read, quote and link to them.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to do something illegal, or to break it for other people.

Links to other sites

We link out to regulators, primary sources and other companies, including ones we compare ourselves to. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they contain or do.

Availability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, or free of errors, and we may change or remove any part of it at any time.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Harper is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or from reliance on anything published on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page changes when we do, and continuing to use the site after that means the updated terms apply.
